I have been a terrible blogger lately...I apologize! Forgive me please. So today I bring you another spotlight and a new release! And please forgive my imageless posts. Blogger will not let me post images lately, if anyone knows why and could help me out leave me a comment!
Introducing Donna!
Donna Bryer Penn 1. Where do you live/where are you from? I'm Donna (djp332 in the forums)
and I've lived in Pittsburgh, PA my whole life.
2. Tell us about your family -I'm married to John for 31 years and we have 2 grown daughters,
Krissy and Becky.
3. What do you get excited about? I love vacations.Hobbies? Scrapbooking, of course, and
photography, but I also make quilts and love to do crafts.
4. Give us some favs....food, color, place, vacations...etc feel free to elaborate! My favorite
vacation was 2 weeks in Alaska 2.5 years ago. We still can't stop talking about it. My favorite
beach is Siesta Key, FL - my oldest daughter will be getting married there in April. Favorite food is
crab cakes. Favorite color is green.
5. What is your job? My job right now is scrapbooking. lol Before that, I worked as a secretary in \
a hospital and a doctor's office and was also a school crossing guard.
6. Tell us something crazy about you that few people would guess. I love roller coasters.
7. What are you afraid of or grossed out by? My biggest fear is dying. Not the actual being dead
part, but the way it would happen.
8. Who is your hero? I think my parents would be my heroes. They worked hard and while we
were never rich, we never went without (at least I don't remember if we did) Even with 6 kids, we
had camping vacations, nice Christmas gifts and 2 new pairs of shoes when school started.
9. Tell us about a typical day in the life of you. My typical day starts with a work out at the gym,
usually in the pool. I love swimming and water aerobics classes. Then a group of us go to Panera's
for coffee. Then I come home and scrap all day! lol What a life, huh?
10. When and why did you start scrapping? I started seriously scrapping in 2005 when a surgical
accident left me unable to work outside of the home. I had to do something. My physical
therapist's wife invited me on a weekend crop and I was hooked.
11. What is your fav thing to scrap about? I scrap everything - from the usual holidays, vacations,
and birthdays, to the everyday things - even my husband's surgery isn't off limits.

Introducing My Team
I mentioned on facebook a week or two ago to watch for spotlights on my awesome CT members. Well here they come. I am starting with the ones that have been with me the longest. They started with me when I was giving freebies away on the blog! They came from Meagan's Creation's awesome team. Meagan is the one who encouraged this adventure to begin with! I'm so happy to have such awesome digiworld friends and such a great team. So without further ado, my first CT member....LAUREN
(isn't she gorgeous!)
1. Where do you live/where are you from?
I am a born and raised Texan!!
2. Tell us about your family
I have been married to my husband for almost 6 years. We have 4 beautiful daughters (3 are his from a previous relationship and then we have 1 daughter together.) Paige is 11, totally pre-teen and moody!!! Emma and Tori are twins. They are 9 years old and love to fight about nothing! Addison is the baby! She is 3 years old...terrible 3's! She is refusing to take a nap, but she passes out on the couch around 2 or 3! haha And she LOVES to pester her older sisters, she's really good at that!
3. What do you get excited about? Hobbies?
I love to listen and dance around to music! I LOVE to read! In the past 2 weeks, I've read AT LEAST seven books...yup SEVEN!!!! I have to put my book away or I'll never get any sleep! And, of course, I love to scrap!
4. Give us some favs....food, color, place, vacations...etc feel free to elaborate!
My favorite color is pink! My favorite food is anything my MeeMaw makes! My favorite TV Shows are Revenge, Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, Once Upon A Time, Grey's Anatomy, I could go on and on and on and on! I am a TV junkie! My favorite place to be is the lake! We are looking at boats so that we can enjoy the lake more often!
5. What is your job?
I am an AP Associate for an Oil & Gas Company in Houston, Texas.
6. Tell us something crazy about you that few people would guess.
I can't really think of anything that is crazy about me. I love to watch football, if it's the Texans! And this is kinda a crazy fact, I guess, my papa and my dad are 25 years apart (they were both born in August), my dad and I are 25 years apart and Addison and I 25 years apart (we were both in July). My dad, Addison and I are all "first born" children, though Addison has 3 older sisters, she is my first child.
7. What are you afraid of or grossed out by?
I'm not really afraid of anything but I get grossed out by the sound/smell of vomit.
8. Who is your hero?
My MeeMaw is my hero. She is one of the strongest women I know! She has had, and beaten, breast cancer TWICE! She has been married to my Papa for over 50 years!! She is always there for me when I just need someone to lend an ear and she doesn't judge!
9. Tell us about a typical day in the life of you.
I work outside of the home so, I get up around 5am every morning. I get myself ready and then I wake up Addison and get her ready for daycare. I wake up my hubs before we leave. I drop her off at daycare around 6:30 and then head in to work. I have to be there at 7:30. I work til 4:30 and my husband pick up Addison from daycare on his way home from work. I get home around 5:30 and start dinner. After dinner, it's bathtime for Addison. We watch some Netfilx, read some books and then bedtime for Addison at 8. I take a shower and then watch TV with hubs and scrapbook at the same time. Tuesdays are dance night for Addison, so we don't get home til about 7:30 and it kinda throws off our schedule!
10. When and why did you start scrapping?
I started scrapping in high school. My mom was a Creative Memories Consultant and I started decorating my binders with pictures of my friends. My mom made my high school scrapbooks and after high school I started doing my own.
11. What is your fav thing to scrap about?
My favorite thing to scrap about are my kids. It's pretty much all I scrap!
I am a born and raised Texan!!

Scrap For John and Lahni
If any of you were following the story about (QueenWild) Lahni's husband John when he was electrocuted on the job last month you will already know this story. For those of you that haven't heard here is the story.
On Wednesday October 23rd, John was working in Banff. He was up in the bucket, working with streat lights and received an electric shock. He was taken to the hospital via STARS air ambulance. He was put into a medically induced coma for 24 hours as he had been without oxygen for 5-15 minutes and the hypothermic state was to help minimize the possible brain damage. He is expected to make a full recovery and is out of the hospital and back home with his family at this time.
We came together as designers here and from some other stores to show our support for Lahni and John by making this kit to help raise some money for their lodging and food while John was in the hospital and to help with donations to STARS - the air ambulance that most probably saved John's life.
Join with us to purchase this beautiful kit "Stand By Me" to help raise funds for the family and STARS.
Kit includes:
